Korea SEP Part III

I have no recollection when this day is but its one of the weekends we had no work and off to Myeongdong we went!

I must have been to myeongdong at least 10 times in my 4 month stay there. wahahaha

My shopping heaven

With forever 21 (favourite!), cosmetic shops, and random stalls. 

Lunchie lunchie in myeongdong! 

Kimchi jigae-Kimchi stew with pork. SPICY AHHH. 

Weather too hot! We need a cold cold drink.

This super sweet snack is found on the streets of myeongdong! And i swear its really sweet.

One should share because you cannot get pass a few bites. 

Apparrently its supposed to be a game. 

We see people trying to peel of the sides and you are supposed to get the middle shape without breaking the shape. 

I think you get to win something but i never found out what.

At the supposedly attraction-cathedral.

Nothing much around there. just had to climb this slope to get up here.

We spot a love motel at some weird alley.

In korea you can bring pets into the malls!

Yea and eat and drink on the subway!

My office table. Provided with a cui laptop. LAGGGGGGG. 

A very very budget meal with ling yan on a random day.

No money. Internship don't pay well. 

Korean side dishes yum yum.

Jan pong ramyeong. Seafood ramen! Spicy. Korea everything spicy. 

This one even more spicy. AHH

Happy ling yan can withstand spiciness very well. 

They gave us an apron each too! So thoughtful

Little snack. I dunno what is it made up of. Shopping after work one day i think.

Korea SEP Part II

School semester didnt start till September but we went early for an internship!

Being a PFM student but doing internship at SPACE.

SPACE at anguk station 

A little pretty alley leading to where my colleagues brought me for lunch!

Beef bibimbap! Quite nice! I like the way its presented. It tasted good too! 6500won only!

Dinner with fellow NUS pfm peeps at a chicken restaurant at wangsimni station. 

Koreans really love chicken and beer!

I grew to like it during my time there!

Don't really drink beer in Singapore. But in Korea its really cheap. haha

Just drink some! 

Random lunch venue with colleagues also at Anguk station. Tasted pretty nice! 

Rice portion was so small. Ration. Ration. Ration. 

Korea was sooooo hot those couple of weeks. 

Like hotter than Singapore. HOT. 

Dinner with fellow friends at Gangnam

Got lost cause we took the train in the wrong direction. Hai

Korean subway system gets a little hard sometimes. 

During my few months there, took the wrong side a couple of times. 

Sometimes, we are on the wrong side, we know it, but we have no idea how to get to the other side for the right train. COMPLICATED.

Korea SEP Part I

Shall keep a record for my Korea SEP!

Starting date : 30/07/2012

Flight: KE642 Korean air

And the journey began! ~

First day: korean students brought us around the school for a little. Walked a hell lot before arriving at this small little restaurant for lunchie!

School grounds: Hanyang University seoul campus

Korean cold noodles: Naeng Myeon

Comes with a dish of meat. shared between two!

Ahhh messy roads messy roads! Look right look left also not enough!

Dinner: Ordered Ja jang myeon delivery. The only time i enjoyed jajangmyeon in Korea:(

Maybe i only like delivery ones hur hur

 My dorm: Looks abit cui but nonetheless it has aircon. 

 Second day : Lets go shopping in seoul!

Cheapo lunch: Ramyeon think 2500 won only 

Ordered this to share too. But wth is it? i totally forgot. 

Off we go setting off from Hanyang univ station! 

Korean subway 

This is at dong dae mun! Being tourists, never go in also must take picture from the outside.

买东西吃东西！

Bread coated hotdog with tomato sauce. 

Korea no chilli sauce. In fast food or whatsoever. I missed chilli sauce in that few months. 

This is part of the Cheonggyecheon stream.

I actually came back here another time to walk almost the entire stretch of the stream. Maybe 4-5km?

Fun? No not really? Camwhore? yes yes. 

Walk too much very tiring. Holiday? Nono. Just a little stretch will do.

Long forgotten

I forgot the existence of this blog! HOHOHO. I'm feeling bored so I should make a post now wahahaha.

 I realised that i do indeed enjoy school life.
 I never really complain that i have too much work to do, unlike my fellow NUS peers from other faculties and courses.
Blessing in disguise i chose PFM.
Used to be so disappointed that almost everyone i knew entering this course chose it as a last resort.
simply cause they wanted to get into NUS I had a choice.
But somehow i chose this course as my first choice ok.
 I never regretted it.
 Made nice friends along the way, somehow enjoying what i'm learning.
Not exactly sure how these will be applicable in future. but oh well. one step at a time.
 Dreading dissertation btw. RAH.
-MISS you CHRYSTAL CHENG pali come back!! -the lovely girls in my life. BIMBO mode on. gossip, fashion anything bimbo!
